In 2006, Alexandra Chernyshova  created the Opera Company named DreamVoices & Alexandra´s Singing School/ Söngskóli Alexöndru

She is a founder and director. Alexandra running DreamVoices together with her husband, photographer Jón R.HIlmarsson. 

The Opera Company brought to stage 10 operas. Published three opera Cds: La Traviata by G.Verdi; Rigoletto by G.Verdi ( 2008); The Poet and the Bishops daughter / Skáldið og Biskupsdóttirin by Alexandra Chernyshova & Guðrún Ásmundsdóttir ( 2023)

Published two opera DVDs: La Traviata by G.Verdi- Ævintýrið gerast ein ( 2007); Ævintýrið um norðurljosin - performance at Harpa Music Hall  ( 2017 ) 

Published two books & one audio book with music: Ævintýrið um norðurljosin ( 2017 )  & Sigvaldi Kaldalóns - dagskrá um ævi og starf ( 2008) 

Alexandra´s Singing school was established 2008, students took part in various projects: Ópera Skagafjarðar productions, Draumaraddir Norðursins - girls choir of the North West of Iceland, operaballet  Ævintýrið um Norðusljósins. In 2012 Draumaraddir published Cd - Súkkulaðiland with 15 known children songs in Icelandic language. Alexandra's Singing School took part in three international Nordplus school projects year 2010-2012 with schools from Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania; projects were dedicated to the theme Nordic Art involves, inspires and unites. Past few years Alexandra´s Singing school taking part in different local festivals, concerts  and projects as Ljósanótt and Barnamenningarhátíð Reykjanesbæ (2023) New Year Gala Concert in Reykjanesbæ (2023-2024), 17th of June celebration and opera productions as Ópera fyrir leikskólabörn (2024-2025)
